Target species include Gray Triggerfish, Black Sea Bass, Vermillion Snapper, (all pictured above) and Red Porgy.

Our catch might also include: Barracuda, Greater Amberjack, Almaco Jack, Black, Red, Gag, Scamp and Snowy Groupers, King Mackerel, Dolphin, Wahoo, and a variety of sharks and other fish.

Cost: $1450 for eight or fewer passengers; first four additional passengers are $100 each (ie. 9 passengers is $1550, 10 is $1650, 11 is $1750;  starting at 12 pax additional charge of $50/person- 12 is $1800, 13 is $1850, 14 is $1950, etc.)  Current rates as of August 2011.  These trips are best limited to 15 passengers to ensure space and fishing opportunities for each person aboard.  This fee does not include a tip for the crew, 15-20% is standard for a job well done.   Trolling for dolphin, tuna, and wahoo can be added for no additional cost!  

All bait and tackle are provided.  We mostly use Penn Senator 4/0 and 6/0 reels and spectra line with two hook bottom rigs.  The spectra enables us to drift in conditions which would not be possible with monofilament line.  For bait we use squid and cut fish (usually mackerel.)  You are welcome to bring your own rod(s) and bait, but if you should find our tackle well suited to the type of fishing we do.

You need to bring all of your food, drink, and other necessities for a comfortable day offshore.  Small and medium sized coolers are best.  We have a well-iced fish box to care for your catch while at sea.  Upon our return, fish cleaning services are available at Hatteras Landing Marina for an additional fee.

Our deckhand(s) work hard to make your day offshore safe, enjoyable, and productive.  They work for tips, so please reserve an appropriate cash tip for this service.  An appropriate tip is 15 to 20% for a job well done.
